During my final degree module, the necessity of adapting during Lockdown lead to the process of moving to solely digital work. Trying to maintain a sense of physical work, I started to learn Blender, (the 3D modelling software.)

-Development (2020)

Alongside working with Blender, I used Photoshop to work on textures derived from previous physical work.

An exploration of form, texture and composition created varied representations of resilience. Compositions worked with ideas of wounds, growth, safety, and objects as memory.

In a push towards the final compositions, I was inspired by assemblage to incorporate objects as memory, to help convey the narrative of trauma at different moments in time. This could simultaneously represent growth and/or trauma.
